| This train, photographed in 1999, bears silent witness to the railway that once ran through Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia (14.46 S, 132.26 E). The bridge built to carry the tracks across the Katherine River is still in place. At the time I took the photo, the only tracks were those under this train. Date approximate. |
